Great opportunity to write some more maritime related songs to Gareths' words - where the Pirates started (with The Ballad of Binham Hill). Work progressing well though I'm a slow writer! All to be published later in the year with a number of other contributions from other singers/songwriters in a collection of Ballads written by Gareth.

The Black Horse, Castle Rising Acoustic Sessions 2015+ 4th Tuesday of the month All instruments, styles, spoken word welcome Sing-around plus shared songs in a friendly atmosphere. 7.45 – 11.00pm 24th March 28th April 26th May 23th June 28th July 25th August 22rd September 27th October 24th November 22nd December - Christmas Bash! 26th January 2016 NEW SESSION The Lynn Arms, Syderstone Acoustic Sessions 2015 1st Wednesday of the month All instruments, styles, spoken word welcome Sing-around plus shared songs in a friendly atmosphere. 8.00 – 11.00pm 1st April The Last Gin Trap Session takes place on 27th January at the usual 7.45pm. Steve and Cindy closed the doors of the Gin Trap last weekend but do want to host a final night of the Gin Trap Acoustic Session on the planned date of 27th January. There will be no food from the kitchen, so please, if you can, bring something along to share. Similarly the bar will not be open but you are welcome to bring your own drink and glass. I’m looking into Tea and coffee.
The fire will be on, the company great, look forward to seeing you there! Just back from a cold but busy Burnham Deepdale Christmas Market gig - lots of nice comments from the shoppers and three offers of festival gigs next year if we can fit them in. Lovely tea from the stall opposite us too!
